During a concert in New York City, Bebe Rexha was hit in the face by a phone thrown by a fan. The incident occurred at Pier 17 during the end of her set. When the phone hit her on the head, she fell down to her knees in agony.
She was promptly taken off stage and taken away from the show venue. Her injuries, which included a cut to her eyebrow and bruises around her left eye, were rather severe. for which she received prompt medical treatment and needed three stitches.
The incident led to the arrest of a 27-year-old concertgoer Nicholas Malvagna Assault charges were filed against him. Later, Bebe Rexha posted photographs of her injuries to Instagram with the remark, “I’m good,” and a thumbs up.
