The famous lady named Laura Lynch, who was a part of a music group called the Dixie Chicks (now known as The Chicks), passed away on Friday in a car accident in El Paso, Texas. She was 65 years old.

The police in Texas have said that Lynch has died, according to a message they sent to NPR.

The musician, who played a big guitar and sang in a famous all-women country music band for a long time, was driving her car on a road when another car crashed into her car really hard. Sadly, she died right away and a special person called a justice of the peace confirmed it.
The other driver was taken to a hospital close by because they got hurt, but their injuries are not very serious and they will be okay.
Emily Strayer, Martie Maguire, and Natalie Maines, all members of the band Chicks, paid tribute to Lynch on their Instagram channel, expressing their astonishment and sadness at the news on their respective accounts.

There was a ray of sunshine in Laura. “During this difficult time, our thoughts are with her family and loved ones,” the statement read. “Her contagious energy and wonderful sense of humor were the spark that ignited the early days of our band.”
According to the agency in charge of safety, the inquiry is still ongoing. In response to NPR’s request for comment, representatives from The Chicks did not provide a response.
Lynch, along with his sisters Maguire and Strayer (née Erwin), was one of the original members of the band. In 1993, Lynch departed the band due to the fact that they had recorded three albums.
Maines was the one who took her place. After the departure of the band’s original vocalist, Robin Lynn Macy, in 1992, she began singing with the band. Initially, she was the bass player for the group.
